Born Ivan Kelley Cousin Jr in Chattanooga Tennessee, his family relocated to Atlanta when he was a baby. Ivan's lifeline to mus|c has been pumping s|nce he was only months old. As a youth he learned to play the drums, piano, bass and lead guitar. Largely due to his clean cut image and pure voice, Ivan has been compared to the likes of the young Michael Jackson and Ralph Treasvant. A singer first, this songwriter, dancer and actor strives to express himself using positivity and real emotion to communicate messages to the world.
At 14, his resume holds impressive performances and appearances including: The K|ng Michael tour: A tribute to the late Michael Jackson, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Good Day Atlanta, NBC News, and CTV News Canada. His resume also boasts international performances and ones alongside some of R & B's influential acts.
Cit|ng his father, Ivan Sr. and Michael Jackson as his original role models, he has lead a life of performing partnering with charities giving back to the community and molding himself to become the type of music |con that the next generation will look up to.
2011 was a monumental year for Ivan's career as he toured the U. S. with the Boys and Girls Club of Amer|ca reaching thousands of his peers, co-starred in the movie Joyful Noise with KeKe Palmer, Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton, released his debut v|deo and single, "Scream" and continued to partner w|th national charities.
Seeing mus|c as a forum to change the world, he strives to be one of the greatest artists to ever perform. As far as his future projections... he sees himself still making people happy and having fun.
